What is Information and Referral?

The Center’s role in providing our Information and Referral core service is to act as an advocate and resource on behalf of consumers. 

We will provide information and referral services to anyone in the community needing to locate and find specific services and programs that Ability 1^st Utah does not provide.

We urge consumers to follow up on their own when we provide information or a referral, since that is a significant part of the ethic of independent self-determination.

If we can’t help you with your needs, we will help you find the resource that can assist you with your request; we will follow-up to make sure that the resource was beneficial in meeting your needs.
